The Vengeance of Mrs. Claus

You can find this book at Blushing Books: The Vengeance of Mrs. Claus, and it's written by our own Ana.

In some countries, turning 21 means gaining the right to vote and drink alcoholic beverages. For Claire Labraun, the Christmas after her 21st birthday would be beyond her wildest imagination.
Minelle and Matthew Labraun believed in a traditional marriage. Matthew was head of their household, and Minelle was his helpmeet.
When it came to raising their headstrong 21-year-old daughter, however, they found themselves at a loss.
Minelle had always taught Claire to do the right thing for right's sake. Claire, however, had different ideas.
She rebelled against their rules, flaunted authority, and connived to get things she wanted.
She had never been spanked in her life; Matthew and Minelle kept that adult privilege strictly between themselves. But this year, a visit from Santa plus Claire's newly adult status would change her idea of Christmas forever.

Have you read it yet? Do you love it? Don't forget to put your review on-line, as I have done. It'll only take a minute.

And for those who haven't read it yet: buy it now, read it, enjoy it, and then review it.

So: what did I think of it?

I couldn't wait for it, so I downloaded it as soon as I saw it was available. I should have been in bed already, but I needed to read it straight away.
Of course I've already been reading Ana's stories, so I was expecting much, and I wasn't disappointed. Apart from the sheer pleasure of finding so many familiar names in this book, it's just so, so funny! I laughed out loud at parts.
Beware of Mrs. Claus, everyone, she's an awesome woman and she'll spank the right kind of Christmas cheer in you, if you let her (and even if you won't).
Ana, thank you for this, I love, love, love it.

  3. Hi Julia,
I bet we were the first to get the book downloaded.
I wondered about how many stars I would give to Ana, because I want to keep her for us. When she gets all famous will she remember us?
Ah, but what the heck. I gave her the five stars, she deserved them.

    1. Yes, she does. I was so (pleasantly) surprised with the book: after reading her Kat Sitting stories, I expected high quality writing, but not anything so hugely funny.

  4. Oh, gosh. I am blushing! You are all SO very sweet. Awww. At the moment, my next scheduled release is The Way Home (Kat 1) in March. Then Simple Gifts in April. There may be one or two more, but the details aren't for sure yet. :)

I love all of you. Thank you.

I've always thought of myself as more of a drama writer than a comedy writer, so this story was a big risk. I'm SO relieved that you liked it. Thank you!

    1. It's all deserved, Ana.
Just remember that I'll want the favour returned if and when I decide my writing is good enough to get published. ;)
I'll be on the lookout for you next titles.

      Hugs, Julia
